The philosophy of the Gams Hotel is based on mindfulness, enjoyment and sustainability. Our kitchen team tantalises the discerning palate preparing daily changing delicious dishes according to the season to meet the “Slow Food” principles. Our head chef, Benjamin Staudigl and his team never fall short of new ideas to pleasantly surprise the guests.
Throughout the year, you are welcome to our restaurant to indulge yourself with specialities of the local and international cuisine. We would like to suggest you our ever-changing themed dinners, such as the “Culinary Spring Awakening” or a barbecue with mouth-watering dishes cooked on the charcoal grill. Enjoy fresh products sourced from local farmers. Sitting back at the tables in our rustic dining rooms or on the terrace, our guests do not remain strangers for long. The warm and friendly atmosphere is contagious, encouraging the guests to engage in conversion.
The Guest Room, the most ancient of our dining rooms, is the cosy centrepiece of hospitality at the Gams Hotel. Here, we have already welcomed merchants passing through Beilngries. Globetrotters. Pleasure-seekers. Walkers after a day spent in the natural surroundings. The historic architecture and the wooden ceiling give the room a very distinctive character. A real gem of the Gams Hotel.
Our tip: those who are looking for a snug place to warm up on cold days, are welcome to sit back next to the tiled stove.
In our “Gute Stube” room everything has been left as it was in former times. Truly stylish and rustic with wood flooring and panelling. To put it shortly: the ideal place to savour a snack and a freshly tapped beer served in the stein.
Lots of things have already been discussed and talked about behind the doors in the traditional “Chimney Room”. The intimate and cosy atmosphere enhanced by the fireplace encourages to engage quickly in lively talks. The room has a special homely feel, notably in winter.

To the cooking workshopsOur breakfast buffet includes, among other treats, a selection of fine breads, fresh rolls and whole grain bread, crisp croissants, pastries, jam and honey, various cheeses, sausage specialties from the local butcher, fruit and natural yogurt, fresh fruit, various fruit juices as well as muesli and cereals. Ginger, lemon and mint flavoured mineral water. All these delicacies provide ample energy for an amazing day out.
